App Updates

Did you know that Safety Reports has 3 app developers who work diligently 24/7 to help keep our apps updated in order for you, our subscribers, to have a great experience using our products?!

App updates are very important for several reasons, which will be outlined below.

Unfortunately, we find that many people don't give app updates the attention they deserve.  App updates are important for the following reasons:

Security Enhancements - Bad people work 24/7 to try and steal your personal data. App developers need to work 24/7 to stay ahead of the game. Security enhancements only work if you download them.

Bug Fixes - Even the best developers are not infallible. Depending on the complexity of the app, programming issues are sometimes unavoidable. But fixes can only be corrected with app updates, so don't ignore them.

Avoid Issues - Sometimes 3rd party apps create issues. For example, Safety Reports does not have a camera built into our app. We use the camera that's native to your device. If that technology in your camera updates, and it's not compatible with our app, we need to implement an update.

New Features - Safety Reports puts out new features all the time. When we do, your app needs to be updated for the new features to work.

Better Performance - Outdated apps run slowly. If your device is running slower than normal, it might be a good idea to check for an app update.  Also, be sure to remove any apps that you no longer use.

Here is a summary of the current app versions for Safety Reports products as of 2/1/2020:

 Scan App is Here

Our new Scan App is finally here! This app will allow you to quickly scan your safety equipment and document your inspection using
your mobile device.

Simply import your assets to your administrative site, set up routes, print QR codes and start scanning using your smartphone or tablet.

The system keeps track of your inventory, lets you quickly inspect your equipment, set warnings to monitor equipment if needed, track corrective action items and more!  The system is managed through an Administrative Account with a dashboard to help keep you updated on your inspections.

This new app is available first to our current Safety Reports subscribers. A full release will be made available later this summer.
